Sol Flores is the Chief Executive Officer of Knight Impact Partners. She leads the team’s day-to-day operations and partnerships, guiding efforts to invest in people and strengthen communities across Chicago. Before joining KIP, Sol served as Deputy Governor for Illinois, overseeing health and human services and advancing statewide initiatives to improve equity and well-being. Earlier in her career, she founded and led La Casa Norte for more than 17 years, expanding housing and support services for youth and families experiencing homelessness. Sol brings extensive experience in leading impact-driven community work and public service to her leadership at Knight Impact Partners.
